Academy Showing Program

Academy showing allows riding students to enter the saddle seat show world without having to own a horse . You are able to show Blue Meadows Farm's experienced lesson horses and travel to local and regional competitions. Our lesson program has produced numerous Iowa Saddlebred Academy State Champions. We also offer top horses available to lease if regional & national academy competition is a goal. Our leasing and lesson program has produced Monarch National Academy Champions.  Academy showing teaches students how to compete, along with valuable life lessons such as sportsmanship, focus, confidence and handling criticism gracefully.

Performance Showing

For those looking to step to the next level, we offer class A performance showing. These riders have gained experience in academy and stepped up to the "big leagues" of performance showing. This allows national & world level competitions locally, regionally, and across the country. Riders in performance will either own their own horse or lease a one of our "lease horses". These horses are in show training prepared for each individual rider. Whether you enjoy competing or just want a one on one bond with a specific horse there is a lot to gain from performance showing American Saddlebreds & Hackney Ponies.
